The Land Use office is responsible for regulating and enforcing Howell Township’s Land Use Ordinance which has been established to ensure the proper use of land and to protect the integrity of the master plan. The land use ordinance establishes specific requirements for a given land area within the municipality. It regulates not only the uses in the area, but the size of the parcels, required setbacks, parking, signage, conditional uses, and numerous other standards.
