1 Class I concurrent with term - Mayor
1 Class II with 1 year term - Official of Township
1 Class III with 1 year term - Township Council member
6 Class IV with 4 year term
Alternates I and II with 2 year term

(One of the above members to be a member of the Environmental Commission-term concurrent with Environmental Commission)

Appointment:  Mayor appoints Class I and II
Council appoints Class III, IV and Alternates
Chair appointed amongst members

Meetings: 1^st & 3^rd Thursday of each month, Main Administration Building,  7:00 PM  Main Meeting Room

Purpose:  The Board shall have the duty to make and adopt and from time to time amend a master plan for the physical development of the Township including any areas outside its boundaries, which in the board's judgment bear essential relation to the planning of the township.  The Board shall also administer the provisions of the land subdivision ordinance and site plan review ordinance of the township in accordance with the provisions of said ordinance and the Municipal Land Use Law.  In addition, the Board shall consider development applications as filed.
