SHADE TREE COMMISSION

      • Reference:  O-91-21, O-96-38 and O-04-20
      • Members: 7 Members with 5 year terms
      • 2 Alternate Members with 5 year terms
      • Appointment: Township Council; Chair appointed amongst members 
      • Meetings3rd Wednesday of each month, Main Administration Building, 7:30 PM  Back Conference Room
      • Purpose: The Commission shall have full and exclusive control over the regulation, planting and care of shade and ornamental trees and shrubbery now located, or which may hereafter be planted in any public highway, park or parkway, except such as are excluded pursuant to NJ Rev. Stat. Ad-4-1 in the Township of Howell, including the planting, trimming, spraying, care and protection thereof.
