New Jersey New Residential Construction Off-Site Conditions Disclosure Act Landfill Report

The Off-Site Disclosure Act Landfill Report is intended to be a comprehensive listing of all landfills within the state that are known to exist by the Department of Environmental Protection. This list was prepared by compiling information from three databases: the Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste database of registered landfills, the New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System database, and the Site Remediation Program's Comprehensive Site List.

The list includes landfills that were registered with the department as well as older unregistered sites. Further information on registered sites may be obtained by reviewing the landfill's file at the Department's offices in Trenton. The Bureau of Central Files should be contacted at (609) 292-0400 to schedule an appointment to review the file. In general, the department does not have information on unregistered landfills that do not have a Solid Waste ID listed on the report.
