The NJDEP has procured the services of Recycle Coach to develop a state-wide recycling information app/web page. Howell Township, in an effort to improve our ability to provide local recycling information, with the combined power of smart phones and web-based technologies, is using this free service. It has come to our attention that some of the information posted has caused some confusion. On the schedule November 3rd had a leaf icon which was for a class on backyard composting held by Monmouth County. The December 3rd icon was erroneously placed there by Recycle Coach Staff, and is being removed. Howell’s leaf pickup started the week of November 5th, in Zone “A” this year. DPW will be going Zone to Zone, then repeating the process to allow for two leaf pickups, weather permitting.
