Please take notice that the Township of Howell (“Township”) will conduct a public hearing on entering into a shared services agreement for Tax Collector services (“proposed Agreement”) with the Borough of Farmingdale (“Borough”). Among other details, the proposed Agreement provides that the Borough will remain the primary employer of its Tax Collector who will provide tax collector services to the Township for a set fee commencing on July 24, 2019, and continuing through July 24, 2023.
The public hearing is to accept public comment on the proposed Agreement and is being held pursuant to N.J.S.A. § 40A:65-5. The public hearing will be held in the public meeting room on July 16, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at: Township of Howell, 4567 Route 9 North, Howell, New Jersey, 07731.
