[ARCHIVED] Municipal Offices Will Have A Delayed Opening Of 12:00pm On Friday, January 3rd

Dear Residents:

The Township of Howell will have a 12:00pm delayed opening for non-snow emergency personnel on Friday, January 3, 2014. Public safety and snow removal operations personnel should report to work as scheduled.

Howell Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 3, 2014.

Property owners or occupants are responsible for clearing sidewalks of snow within 12 hours of the completion of a storm, and residents are urged to assist elderly or disabled neighbors with clearing snow from their properties. It is illegal to shovel snow back onto streets or onto fire hydrants. If you encounter a downed wire, treat it as if it is live and avoid it. Report wires down by calling 9-1-1 or the police non-emergency 732-938-4111.

Most Sincerely,
Jeffrey Filiatreault
Township Manager
