[ARCHIVED] Flu Shots Offered For Seniors

Howell Township will be offering flu shots in October to Howell residents age 60 and older and to those Howell residents who meet the Center for Disease Control guidelines for the vaccine we receive from the manufacturer. FLU SHOTS will be given by the Monmouth County Health Department at the Senior Center on Thursday, October 2nd from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Flu shots will be given at the Villages on Thursday, October 9th from 9:30am to 11:30am. Flu shots will be given at Surrey Downs on Thursday, October 9th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Crossroads and Friendship Gardens flu vaccines are being provided by Springpoint Senior Living. Check with your management office for details. If you live in one of these senior housing complexes, please make arrangements to get your shots there. You must be a Howell Township resident in order to participate in this free program. Proof of residence, age, and CDC eligibility qualifications, if applicable, will be required. Remember to wear short sleeves!
