[ARCHIVED] Hazardous Weather

Weather forecasters are predicting a Nor’easter will affect this area Monday night (12/8/14) through Wednesday (12/10/14). Upcoming high tides are as follows (times approximate):
• Monday Night: 9:15pm
• Tuesday: 9:30am and 10pm

DO NOT drive your vehicle through flood waters. Water maybe deeper than you think. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs.

The township may close some roads due to flooding. Please do not move barricades from roadways or drive on flooded streets.

High winds have the potential to bring down trees and power lines. Please take all necessary precautions. Bring loose items indoors and fully secure outdoor objects.
