The majority of the storm is over; unfortunately during the height of the storm our Verizon connectivity was lost. We are exercizing our contingency plan and hope to be back up shortly. Rest assured we are still actively working to mitigate the impact and meet the needs of the Township to the best of our ability. A travel ban remains in effect due to numerous electrical wires down and roadways blocked. We are coordinating with the County emergency operations center and JCPL to facilitate restoration of power to all citizens as quickly as possible. However, due to the magnitude of the outage we are unable to estimate when power will be restored. We ask for your patience during this difficult time. We have not yet been able to access all the damage and will keep you updated as necessary.
