In conjunction with the Board of Education, the Department of Public Works has dedicated all available snow removal resources for the purpose of providing passable roads for students to be transported to school safely. The significant snowfall experienced this past weekend has made the accomplishment of this goal a difficult and timely task. As hazardous travel conditions still exists, the Howell Township Board of Education has decided that schools will be closed on Monday, January 25, 2016. Crews will continue to work around the clock to ensure these hazardous conditions are alleviated. In the interim, those who must drive are urged to exercise extreme caution in their travels.
